Modernization or Expansion in existing Ventures
We offer the following services for the modernization or expansion in the existing ventures in India:
- In case the expansion is proposed at a location other than the existing location, we provide assistance to the Clients in identification of project location considering the incentives provided by various State Governments for investments in their States, benefits available under Income Tax, GST Act, raw materials availability/ other operational parameters and above all the compatibility with the existing project location.
- Due Diligence of the ownership of the proposed seller & usage of project land, if required.
- Permissions & compliances under FEMA & RBI Regulations in case the new business place is set up for expansion projects by NRIs/ OCIs/ PIOs or a Foreign Company.
- Permissions & compliances under FEMA & RBI Regulations for the additional Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in the ventures. We obtain permissions from RBI and Govt. of India (GOI) for the investments in Business Ventures on Repatriation/ Non-Repatriation basis; in compliance to FEMA & RBI Guidelines considering the specified Sectors & Sectoral Cap. In some sectors permission of GOI is required, whereas some sectors are under Automatic Route. However, certain compliances are required under Automatic Route also. Accordingly, we obtain approvals for such additional FDI in Projects under GOI Approvals or Projects under Automatic Route. For details see FDI in Indian Ventures.
- To facilitate raising of Funds required for the modernization or the expansion in the existing Projects/ Ventures.
- Assistance in obtaining various construction Permissions/NOCs/ Clearances from Development/ Municipal/Environment/ Statutory Authorities for Construction of additional Building/ Business Premises at the existing place or new place as planned.
- Procuring No Objection Certificates (including clearances from Pollution Control angle)/ Permissions/ Registrations from the Regulatory, Environment & Tax Authorities, for modernization or expansion in the existing Venture/ Project.
- Supervising the maintaining of Books of Accounts, Preparation/ Filing of Annual Financial Statements with Statutory Authorities, Audit of Accounts.
- Registration under Goods & Service Tax (GST) Act if the expansion project is at new place or new product is added and payment of Taxes, filing of returns, obtaining of permissions, assessments etc. for such new place of business.
- Registrations & other Compliances
